HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!

i had a fantabulous time today!
although there were the moments where i felt my hair was gonna turn grey almost immediately!
i kicked off the day by going to the supermarket at 9 am all by myself!(yay!)
it was my virgin solo grocery shopping!
haha!
i bought loads of ingredients to bake a chocolate cake from scratch!
no instant dough mix this time round!
i was really stressed cos i was fumbling with every lil' thing i did!
but i managed to bake a cookie-brownie-like cake which surprisingly tasted not bad to some! (thankfully! hurray!)
thanks for making me feel better after i almost set my kitchen on fire!
haha!
now i know for sure my family's really terrified of me trying out any of my 'experiments' again in future!

but doesn't the saying go, 'practise makes perfect?'
nevertheless, i had a great day out and who said valentine's day had to be perfect only when spent with your other half?
it's fantastic out with loved ones too!
