Today's my unlucky day.
Went to the doc's this morning and when I found out that they do not accept nets, I had to walk across a huge field (those who've been to my place know how big the field is), past my place just to withdraw a couple of dollars.
Then it was back to the clinic.
After giving me a routine check-up, this was what my doc told me.
"Clara, your blood pressure's low." (in a worrying tone)
Naturally, it got me a lil worried.
Then he said, " Oh but don't worry so much. As we age, our blood pressure will rise. Therefore, while most people would have high blood pressure in their old age, you'll have normal blood pressure by then! Haha!"
Gosh.
Next, while waiting to collect my medicine, the nurse started calling "Lee Hui Yi".
Obviously, I wouldnt go up to the dispensary immediately just in case I might embarrass myself, considering the amount of embarrassment I normally get with everything that I do (it's sufficient).
Therefore, I decided to wait and see.
After looking around to see if anyone was going up to the nurse, and together with all the other patients giving me weird stares, I figured maybe the nurse was referring to me afterall. Ha.
So, I went up to her.
And guess what?
She scolded me!
She said, " I call and call for you, why you sit there so blur, don't know how to come here?"
I was in shock, but I manage to correct her, saying, " Auntie, my surname's Loh, not Lee."
She said, "Oh." then carried on to correct the mistakes on the plastic holders, without giving me a single apology.
My, was that my fault?
On my way home, while walking through the void deck of some block, I tripped and almost fell if not for the wall at the side which I managed to get maximum support from. Hurt my ankle. Sigh.
Finally, when I got home, all I wanted was to settle down quickly, have lunch then take my medicine and get more rest.
But, to my utter annoyance, the bottle of tomato sauce which I had turned upside down cause there was only a lil bit of it left (I mean isnt that what most people do right?) squirted out tomato sauce all over me when I opened it! I think it was cause of the air trapped inside the bottle or something. Ugh.
I've done it countless times but having tomato sauce squirted all over me is definitely the first.
And of all days, today.
Damn.
What a day.
On a different note, in two days, I've spent 230bucks on seeing doctors.
200bucks was to see a specialist which eventually, thankfully, put my mind to ease.
And 30bucks was for my gp.
I hate to say this, but, I'm broke.
I've got a sudden craving.
I want a chocolate cake for myself.
Well I could share.
But I want a huge one.
